This may be in the form of coercion, threats, violence or emotional / psychological pressure. Whatever form used, pressure which forces someone into a marriage is an abuse of their human rights.
Guidance from HM Government and the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework requires all staff in schools and academies to recognise the dangers of Forced Marriage and be vigilant in protecting children.
